One Down, 11 More to Go!

I was "sew" excited (ha) to get started that I finished the first block yesterday while waiting for my hubby to get home from work. I have never sewn a quilt block before and was shocked when it only took an hour and a half to complete (that is including the row I had to rip off and re-sew because I sewed it on upside down...whoops). Rachel thought I should go ahead and post my finished product. I hope everyone else is excited as I obviously am!

    so pretty! hopefully i will get to start on mine this weekend...i already have the fabric washed, pressed and waiting!

    Looks great, I too was surprised how quickly it went. I only have the squares sewn, but should be assembling them into rows and block tomorrow afternoon. I hope to post pictures then.
