Drunkard's Path question

A question about seam allowances. In the initial post for this month's quilt block - the seam allowance for sewing around the circle says - %" - what does this mean? I noticed for stitching the circle quarters to the squares there is an 1/8" seam so it can be hidden when you put the other squares together for the block, but what are we using for sewing the circle?
Thanks.

  1. use a quarter scant inch like usual. Sorry, should have put that in so to recap 1/4 scant inch seam
