Those look nice! Great job! I went yesterday to pick out my material and I am so frustrated! All the other times I have been in the cloth stores doing this and other projects and see all manner of animal prints in all manner of kinds of cloth. So I looked high and low. I had already picked out the black and beige to use. I found the fake fur animal prints, and snake skin in cotton, and animal prints in the fleece but no cotton animal prints! Finally I found in the I think it was a rayon mix, sort of stretchy, I found a very dark animal print that actually had some burnt orange and it was so dark and I didn't care for it, the other one was a cheetah print it said, so I got that but realized it didn't go with the beige. So I traded the beige for a color in the print which was a brown...the other choice was a gray-ish green and felt that the brown would go better with the others coming in.....SOOOO I hope it will turn out ok? and hope the rayon-ish type of material will work too. Just pretty frustrated right now, hope it gets better from here!!!
I understand that I found a beautiful animal print in a green and black and purple but didn't think it would go with Dalana's theme. And Yes for the first time I found tons of animal print in fleece, flannel but not cotten, what is up with that. I am sure it will be great. It was a fun patter to do even with the frustration of finding fabric. So I know your plight.
Mom B- I don't know if you've done your block yet but I went to Wal Mart last week, and Hancock and JOann yesterday and found bounds and bounds of print material to match my mom's colors. You can wait to do it til you get here if you want and we can work on it together:)
